Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
SHIFTS: Nights
Duration: 13 week
Location: Midland, TX
Job Summary:
As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with various breathing disorders. You will work closely with physicians to develop treatment plans and administer therapies to help patients improve their lung function and overall respiratory health.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform diagnostic tests to assess patients' lung function
- Administer medications and therapies, such as oxygen and nebulizers
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients on proper breathing techniques and ways to manage their respiratory conditions
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) designation , BLS , ACLS Required
- State licensure as a Respiratory Therapist
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
